Hard Rock Bach

Hard Rock Bach was given its name by a sarcastic colleague who very much disapproved of Barnes’ interpretation of the 6 Sonatas and Partitas and 6 Suites for solo violin and cello. This “interpretation” includes the use of three amplifiers, effects pedals, which includes a generous share of wah pedal as Hendrix would have colored the music of J.S. Bach. In addition to music of the Johann, Ben pens arrangements for solo violin of classic rock songs written by The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie and others. Paganini’s Caprices are payed on the zeta electric violins.
